Colorado Charlie, the iconic beach club in Scheveningen, is renowned for sultry summer evenings filled with techno, house, and hard house. Although their events were already popular, they approached us to develop a strategy to keep their brand top-of-mind with their audience. In June, we joined as their event marketing partner and crafted a campaign that not only stood out but also delivered remarkable results.
Our collaboration with Colorado Charlie focused on strengthening their brand and reaching both new and existing audiences. We emphasized atmosphere: vibrant videos that captured the energy of their events without overly pushy “Buy your tickets now” messages. Renowned DJs and line-ups were prominently featured to keep the audience engaged.
Through Meta (Instagram and Facebook), we implemented a three-part strategy: atmospheric videos to build brand awareness, followed by visuals and videos promoting specific events and monthly schedules (such as artist videos and line-ups), and finally, static line-up content subtly encouraging ticket purchases. The result? A stronger brand presence and top-of-mind awareness, with campaigns excelling in conversions as well.
In two months, the campaigns achieved impressive numbers: a ROAS of 13, even with 40% of the budget allocated to awareness. The conversion campaigns performed so well that they achieved a ROAS of 41.54 in the first month. Colorado Charlie maintained a strong presence among their target audience, surpassing competitor visibility.
With Colorado Charlie, we proved that a strong focus on atmosphere and branding pays off. Not every campaign has to focus solely on conversions; sometimes, it’s about connection and experience. By genuinely resonating with the target audience and immersing them in the world of Colorado Charlie, we turned them into a top-of-mind brand in the summer dance scene. This collaboration not only delivered impressive results but also earned a client rating of 5/5.
